The Creative urge is oozing...

but nothing is coming out.

Its 3:30 on a beautiful bank holiday Monday afternoon. The sun is out, there's a tiny finch bathing in the pond just above the sight line of my laptop screen and I'm outside with soaking up the lovely sounds of a band i was recommended.

This is where i should be thriving. Musical and lyrical ideas should be jumping from my head to the page but still nothings happening. I thought for a while that maybe it has something to do with the fact im actually happy. Maybe I'm at my most creative when things aren't going my way. But that throws up a nice little paradox. I'm happy when im writing songs but i can only write when im sad...

surely not...

I truly hope that isn't the case otherwise I'm fooked....

So its been a while...

I know, i get it. Im supposed to to be doing this on a regular basis.

Im just lazy i guess, A lots changed in recent months (year) tho.

Most of all the fact I've found myself a soul mate which is frankly amazing, why someone would want to put up with me is just beyond my comprehension. But thats the thing I think. She herself, is amazing. Im a lucky guy...

Most recently though, I've got myself signed up to be doing a degree in engineering, and a new computer to boot, so im gonna strive to try and keep this thing up to date and anyone that can be arsed to give a crap in the know :)
